La'Tonya Costen- Altman was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Ronald Alexander Costen Sr. and the late Ruthy McCloud-Costen. She is the grand-daughter of the Late- Pastor Junius and Bessie Selina Daniels. She is the grand-daughter of Deacon Joseph McCloud and Mother Pauline Turner. She is the great-grand-daughter of the Late-Pastor David L. and Evangelist Lula Long. She is one of nine siblings. At an early age she came to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She began her education in the Connecticut Parochial and Public School System, and later graduated from Connecticut Business Institute. In 1969, Bishop Kenneth H. Moales Sr. planted the seed of Salvation and in 1983 Bishop J.C. White, well watered that seed, which was lying dormant. In 1992, Pastor Altman received her calling into the ministry. LaTonya Altman was commissioned by the Lord to attend Bethel Bible College and Foundation Bible Institute. She received additional training from Apostle Ecclesiates MarQuez. In the spring of 2004, after much guidance, prayer and fasting, Pastor La'Tonya Costen-Altman received the call from the Lord, to the office of Pastorate. On September 18, 2005, Pastor Altman was consecrated as Pastor of Resurrected Life Apostolic Church by Bishop/Overseer Bishop Zebedee Stewart of Pentecostal Churches of Prayer and Deliverance. Her Mission includes; loving our brothers and sisters, to give of ourselves, obey God and to be priestly through Godly relationship. She accomplished with all diligence the wholeness of man, commandments and commitments to God and man. She is indeed a vessel called by God to destroy the enemy through the propagation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She has a heart of compassion for hurting women "Diamonds Do Shine". She will provoke and compel you to move from where you are to where you need to be. She is a powerful preacher, inspiring speaker and author. She takes no credit of her own, she simply says, "To God be the Glory". Pastor Altman is the wife of Bishop-Elect Derwood Altman through this union they have two children, Da' Mara Alexandria Altman-Hernandez, La' Teisa Da' Nae Altman and one grandson, Zy' Aire Alexander Altman-Baldwin. Pastor Altman is under the covering of the great Dr. John C. White, Senior Pastor of Cathedral of Praise Church of God in Christ, International in Bridgeport, CT.
